Phillies Add Depth, Acquire Stairs

The Philadelphia Phillies have added a much needed bench bat, acquiring veteran outfielder Matt Stairs from the Toronto Blue Jays. The prospect going to the Blue Jays is not known, but the Jays will now give their number one prospect Travis Snider a look at the major league level.

Nice move for the Phillies, adding to some depth that they've lacked all year after Geoff Jenkins failed to impress.
